In section 20(4) of the M1Legal Aid Act 1988 (power of magistrates’ court to grant legal aid for Crown Court proceedings), in paragraph (b), after the word “cases)” there shall be inserted the words “or section 53 of the Criminal Justice Act 1991 (transfer of certain cases involving children)”.
