In regulation 3(1) of the Industrial Tribunal (England and Wales) Regulations 1965 (President of Industrial Tribunal) for the words “barrister or solicitor of not less than seven years' standing” there shall be substituted “person who has a 7 year general qualification, within the meaning of section 71 of the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990.”

In regulation 5(2) of those regulations (chairman of tribunal) for the words “being barristers or solicitors of not less than seven years' standing” there shall be substituted “who have a 7 year general qualification, within the meaning of section 71 of the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990,”.

The amendments by sub-paragraphs (1) and (2) of provisions contained in regulations shall not be taken to have prejudiced any power to make further regulations amending or revoking those provisions.
