2 Short title, repeal, commencement and extent. E+W

(1) This Act may be cited as the Landlord and Tenant (Licensed Premises) Act 1990.

(2) Subject to subsections (1) and (2) of section 1 of this Act,—

(a) section 43(1)(d) of the M1 Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, and

(b) paragraph 5 of Schedule 2 to the M2 Finance Act 1959 (which amended section 43 by substituting the present subsection (1)(d)),

are hereby repealed.

(3) This Act shall come into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the day on which it is passed.

(4) This Act does not extend to Scotland or Northern Ireland.
