Official Secrets Act 1989

1 In each of the following provisions—

(a) section 11(2)(b) of the [1967 c. 13.] Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967;

(b) section 11(2)(b) of the [1969 c. 10. (N.I.).] Parliamentary Commissioner Act (Northern Ireland) 1969;

(c) section 12(2)(b) of the [1969 c. 25. (N.I.).] Commissioner for Complaints Act (Northern Ireland) 1969;

(d) paragraph 16(4)(b)(ii) of Schedule 16 to the [1973 c. 38.] Social Security Act 1973;

(e) section 32(2)(b) of the [1974 c. 7.] Local Government Act 1974;

(f) section 30(2)(b) of the [1975 c. 30.] Local Government (Scotland) Act 1975;

(g) paragraph 16(4)(b)(ii) of Schedule 3 to the [S.I. 1975/1503 (N.I. 15).] Social Security Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 1975;

(h) paragraph 16(b) of Schedule 13 to the [1977 c. 49.] National Health Service Act 1977;

(j) regulation 35(2)(a)(ii) of the [S.I. 1984/380] Occupational Pension Schemes (Contracting out) Regulations 1984;

(k) regulation 32(2)(a)(ii) of the [S.R. 1985 No. 259.] Occupational Pension Schemes (Contracting-out) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1985,

for the words “the Official Secrets Acts 1911 to 1939” there shall be substituted the words “the Official Secrets Acts 1911 to 1989”.
