(1)Where, after [F2a person has effected a policy of insurance F3... for the purposes of this Part of this Act,] [F4an event which results in that person being a relevant person for the purposes of the Third Parties (Rights against Insurers) Act 2010] happens, the happening of that event shall, notwithstanding anything in the [F5that Act], not affect any such liability of that person as is required to be covered by a policy of insurance under section 145 of this Act.
