5U.K.Subject to paragraph 6 below, the Secretary of State may at any time remove a person from office as an assessor if satisfied that—
(a)he has been convicted of a criminal offence;
(b)he has become bankrupt or has had his estate sequestrated or has made an arrangement with, or granted a trust deed for, his creditors;
[F1(ba)a debt relief order (under Part 7A of the Insolvency Act 1986) has been made in respect of him;]
[F2(bb)he has become the subject of a bankruptcy restrictions order under Schedule 2A to the Insolvency (Northern Ireland) Order 1989]
[F3(bc)debt relief order (under Part 7A of the Insolvency (Northern Ireland) Order 1989) has been made in respect of him;
(bd)he has become the subject of a debt relief restrictions order (under Part 7A of the Insolvency (Northern Ireland) Order 1989);]
(c)he is incapacitated by physical or mental illness; or
(d)he is otherwise unable or unfit to perform his duties.
