48 Power of Lord Advocate and Secretary of State in relation to research into law.
The Lord Advocate or the Secretary of State may assist (whether financially or otherwise) other persons in conducting research into any matter connected with the law (other than research into any matter referred to in section 75(1) of the M1Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 1949).
