8 Penalties for offences.

A person guilty of an offence under this Act shall be liable on summary conviction—

(a)

in the case of an offence under section 1(2) F1or 1A(2), to a fine not exceeding level 4 on the standard scale,

(b)

in the case of an offence under section 1(3) F2, 1A(3), 2(1) F3or 2A(1), to a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or both, . . . F4

(c)

in the case of an offence under section 1(4) F5, 1A(4) or 2(2), to a fine not exceeding level 2 on the standard scale.
