(1)On the appointed day there shall be established for each metropolitan county a body corporate to be known by the name of that county with the addition of the words [F2“ Integrated Transport Authority ”].
(2)The [F3authorities] established by this section shall be known as [F4Integrated Transport Authorities] .
(3)Each [F5Integrated Transport Authority established under this section] shall consist of members of the constituent councils appointed by them to be members of the authority.
(4)The constituent councils in relation to [F6an Integrated Transport Authority established under this section] shall be the councils of the metropolitan districts comprised in the county.
