Soliciting of women by men
2Persistent soliciting of women for the purpose of prostitution
(1)
A man commits an offence if in a street or public place he persistently solicits a woman (or different women) for the purpose of prostitution.
(2)
A person guilty of an offence under this section shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale (as defined in section 75 of the M1Criminal Justice Act 1982).
