This Act may be cited as the Industrial Development Act 1982.

This Act shall come into force on the expiration of the period of three months beginning with its passing.

This Act extends to England and Wales and, except for section 14, to Scotland; but only the following provisions of this Act extend to Northern Ireland, that is to say, Part III, sections 11F1, 12 and 13A, and this section and (so far as they relate to enactments which extend to Northern Ireland) sections 15F2, 16 and 19 and Schedules 2 and 3.
