8E+WWhere at the commencement of sections 1 to 15 above an offender is serving a sentence of life imprisonment which was passed on him while he was under 21 years of age, he shall be treated for all purposes as if he had been sentenced to custody for life on the date when the sentence of life imprisonment was imposed.
