6 The contracts concerned.E+W+N.I.

(1)In this Act [F1in its application to England and Wales and Northern Ireland] a “contract for the hire of goods” means a contract under which one person bails or agrees to bail goods to another by way of hire, other than [F2 a hire-purchase agreement]F2 .
