“benefit”, except in . . . F1 section 43, has the same meaning as in the principal Act;

“principal Act” means the M1Social Security Act 1975;

“regulations” means regulations made by the Secretary of State;

“tax year” means the period of twelve months beginning with 6th April in any year.
