A licence for a zoo may with the approval of the local authority be transferred to another person, and in that case the transferee shall become the holder of the licence from the date F1specified by the authority and notified by them to the transferor and transferee.

On the death of the holder of a licence, the personal representatives of the deceased are deemed to be the holders of the licence during the period of three months after the death or such longer period as the local authority may approve.

The holder of a licence may at any time surrender it to the local authority who shall thereupon cancel the licence.
