The M1Town and Country Planning Act 1971 and the M2Local Government Act 1972 shall have effect subject to the amendments specified in Schedule 1 to this Act, and the M3Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1972 shall have effect subject to the amendments specified in Schedule 2 to this Act (being, in each case, amendments consequential on the foregoing provisions of this Act).
