(1)This Act may be cited as the Horserace Betting Levy Act 1981.
(2)In this Act—
“the Act of 1963” means the M1Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963;
“the M2Act of 1969” means the Horserace Betting Levy Act 1969;
[F1“the Levy Board” has the same meaning as in the Act of 1963;]
[F2“levy period” has the same meaning as in Part 1 of the Act of 1963.]
(3)This Act does not extend to Northern Ireland.
