5 Citation, interpretation and extent.
(1)
This Act may be cited as the Horserace Betting Levy Act 1981.
(2)
In this Act—
“the Act of 1963” means the M1Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963;
“the M2Act of 1969” means the Horserace Betting Levy Act 1969;
F1“the Levy Board” has the same meaning as in the Act of 1963;
F2“levy period” has the same meaning as in Part 1 of the Act of 1963.

This Act does not extend to Northern Ireland.
