2Short title, interpretation and extent.
(1)
This Act may be cited as the Industrial Diseases (Notification) Act 1981.
(2)
In this Act " Registrar General " means—
(a)
in England and Wales, the Registrar General for England and Wales; and
(b)
in Scotland, the Registrar General of Births, Deaths and Marriages for Scotland.
(3)
This Act does not apply to Northern Ireland.
