The Scottish River Purification Advisory Committee is hereby abolished; and accordingly, in the M1Rivers (Prevention of Pollution) (Scotland) Act 1951, subsections (2), (3) and (4) of section 1 (which relate to the appointment, constitution and functions of that committee) shall cease to have effect.
