F1175BConsent of highway authority required for trunk road access
(1)
Access to or from a trunk road in England must not be constructed, formed or laid out without the consent of the highway authority for the trunk road.
(2)
Subsection (1) does not apply where—
(a)
section 24(2) applies, or
(b)
development consent is required under the Planning Act 2008.
