3Subsection (1) of section 3 of the said Act of 1968 shall apply on the occurrence of any such event as is there mentioned not only while the building is a qualifying hotel but also after it has ceased to be one; but where two or more such events occur during a period when the building is not a qualifying hotel that subsection shall not apply on the occurrence of any of those events except the first.
