9 Citation, repeals, commencement and extent.
(1)
This Act may be cited as the Rating (Disabled Persons) Act 1978.
(2)
This Act in its application to Scotland and the previous Valuation Acts may be cited together as the Valuation Acts.
(3)
The enactments mentioned in Schedule 2 to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent specified in the third column of that Schedule.
(4)
This Act shall come into force on 1st April 1979.
(5)
This Act does not extend to Northern Ireland.
