95 Application of certain provisions of the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967. S

The following provisions of the M1 Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967 shall, with any necessary modifications, apply to the Commissioner, to his officers and to a body subject to investigation as they apply to the Commissioner under that Act, to his officers and to a department or authority concerned:—

• section 7 (procedure in respect of investigations);

• section 8 (evidence);

• section 9 (obstruction and contempt);

• section 11 (secrecy of information), except subsection (4);

and in sections 7(1) and 8(1) of the said Act of 1967 as applied by this section the words “the principal officer of” and “Minister” shall be omitted.
