Supplementary

110 Citation, extent and commencement.

(1)

This Act may be cited as the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978.

(2)

Subject to F1subsection (3)F1subsections (2A) and (3), this Act extends only to Scotland.

F2(2A)

Section 87B(3) extends also to England and Wales.

(3)

Paragraph 3 of Schedule 10 extends to other parts of the United Kingdom.

(4)

This Act shall come into force on 1st January 1979.
