SCHEDULE 2 E+W Transitional Provisions and Savings

1 (1) In so far as anything done under an enactment repealed by this Act could have been done under a corresponding provision of this Act, it shall not be invalidated by the repeal but shall have effect as if done under that provision. E+W

(2) Sub-paragraph (1) above applies, in particular, to any regulation, rule, notice or order.

2 E+WThe enactments mentioned in Schedule 6 to the M1 Rent Act 1965 shall, notwithstanding the repeal of that Act by this Act, continue to have effect as they had effect immediately before the commencement of this Act.
