5Exemptions
The provisions of this Act shall not apply to any dangerous wild animal kept in:—

a zoological garden ;
2
a circus;
3
premises licensed as a pet shop under the [1951 c. 35.] Pet Animals Act 1951;
4
a place registered pursuant to the [1876 c. 77.] Cruelty to Animals Act 1876 for the purpose of performing experiments.
