5Where, in the case of a person entitled in respect of any day to earnings-related supplement of sickness benefit or a maternity allowance, payment by way of such benefit or of such an allowance does not, but a payment by way of injury benefit (section 56) does, fall to be made to that person in respect of that day, the earnings-related supplement may be paid with the injury benefit.
