5 Short title, interpretation, commencement and extent.
(1)
This Act may be cited as the Administration of Justice (Scotland) Act 1972.
(2)
In this Act any reference to an enactment shall be construed as a reference to that enactment as amended by or under any other enactment.
(3)
Sections 1 and 3 of this Act shall come into operation on such day as the Secretary of State may by order made by statutory instrument appoint, and different days may be appointed for different purposes.
(4)
This Act shall extend to Scotland only.
