This Act may be cited as the Deposit of Poisonous Waste Act 1972.

Sections 3, 4 and 5(3) and (4) of this Act shall come into force on a day appointed by the Secretary of State by order made by statutory instrument; but subject as aforesaid this Act shall come into force on the date of its passing.

This Act does not extend to Northern Ireland.
