Transfer of property and officers to local planning authorities

8 Nothing in this Act or the Act of 1962 shall affect, or be treated as having affected, the operation of any regulations made by virtue of section 101 of the Act of 1947 (provisions for transfer of property and officers to local planning authorities and for other matters consequential upon or supplementary to section 4 of that Act) in so far as any such regulations do not have effect in accordance with paragraph 1 of this Schedule.

Delegation of functions: compensation in respect of tree preservation orders

9 The terms of any delegation of functions by a local planning authority effected in pursuance of section 3 of the Act of 1962 before 4th August 1968 may be varied, so as to take account of any liability under section 175 of this Act of a local authority to whom functions have been so delegated, in such manner as the local planning authority and the other local authority may agree, or, if they fail to agree, as may be determined by the Secretary of State.
