2 Short title repeals and extent.

This Act may be cited as the Rural Water Supplies and Sewerage Act 1971.

M1The Rural Supplies and Sewerage (No. 2) Act 1955, the said Act of 1965 and in section 1(3) of the M2Rural Water Supplies and Sewerage Act 1955 the words “or, as the case may be, by subsection (5)” are hereby repealed.
(3)
This Act does not extend to Scotland except so far as it relates to the said section 1(3) and does not extend to Northern Ireland.
