The repeals made by this Act shall not affect the appointment of any judge, officer or other person made before the repeal takes effect, but without prejudice to any provision of this Act abolishing any office or employment.

The repeals made by this Act shall not affect any pension or other right in respect of service before the repeal takes effect.
