In section 43(3) of the Act of 1954 (exclusion of certain tenancies granted for not more than three months) for the words “three months”, in both places where they occur, there shall be substituted the words “six months” and for the words “six months” (in paragraph (b)) the words “twelve months”.

Subsection (1) of this section does not apply to tenancies granted before the commencement of this Act.
