6In subsection (1) of section 16 of the Allotments Act 1922, for the words from " taken " onwards there shall be substituted the words " taken, to exceed the receipts of the council under those provisions by no greater amount than would be produced by a rate of 0.8p in the pound " ; and section 75 of the Local Government Act 1929 (increase of certain statutory limits) shall not apply to the said section 16 as amended by this paragraph.
