Compulsory Purchase
4 Time limit for giving notice to treat.

A notice to treat may not be served by the acquiring authority after the end of the F3applicable period beginning with the day on which the compulsory purchase order becomes operative.
F4(2)
The applicable period is—
(a)
3 years, or
(b)
such longer period as is specified in the order for the purposes of this section.
