New Forest Act 1877

Maximum Rate and Scale of Contributions to be levied by VerderersU.K.

1U.K.An annual rate upon property to which rights of common of pasture, turbary, or pannage attach, not exceeding one penny in the pound on the rateable value of such property; and

2U.K.Payments for the following matters, viz.:—

Not to exceed
(a) For marking every head of cattle, including horses, donkeys, and mules, entitled to be in the Forest)[F112½p]
For marking every sheep entitled to be in the Forest)[F15p]
(b) For every thousand turves[F12½p]
(c) For every pig turned out in pannage time[F2two pounds]

The contributions in this schedule mentioned are independent of any dues or sums payable to the Crown.
