98Service of notices upon Company
In all cases in which it may be necessary for any person to serve a summons, writ, notice or other proceedings at law or otherwise upon the Company by citation, notification or intimation in an action, suit or process which may be raised or instituted against the Company, service thereof respectively upon the secretary either personally or by leaving the same at or by transmitting the same to the head office of the Company or one of the offices of the Company in London or (if the service relates to policies or other engagements entered into with parties described as of a place in a territory outside the United Kingdom in respect of which a local head office has been designated by the directors) the local head office of that territory shall, without prejudice to any other mode of service for the time being permitted or required by law, be deemed to be good service on the Company.
