83Authentication of Authority's documents

(1)

Any notice, licence or other document given or issued by the Authority under any enactment shall, unless the contrary intention is expressed in the enactment in question, be sufficiently authenticated if signed by the secretary of the Authority or by one of his deputies, and need not be sealed by the Authority.

(2)

Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1) of this section all documents relating to goods at the docks or to the management of the business at the docks shall be sufficiently authenticated if signed by a duly authorised officer of the Authority and need not be sealed by the Authority.
