The Secretary of State1 makes these Regulations, with the consent of the Treasury2, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 14(1) of, and paragraph 1(1)3 and (3) of Schedule 4 and paragraph 21(b) of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 20184.
In accordance with paragraph 12(1) of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, a draft of these Regulations has been laid before Parliament and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
