Citation, commencement, extent and interpretation1

These Regulations may be cited as the Adult Social Care Information (Enforcement) Regulations 2022 and come into force on the 21st day after the day on which they are made.

These Regulations extend to England and Wales.

In these Regulations—

  • “final notice” has the meaning given in regulation 6(2);

  • “notice of intent” has the meaning given in regulation 4(1).
