Article 50 is amended as follows.

Omit paragraph 1.

In paragraph 2—

a

for “authorities of relevant Member States having authorised the biocidal product concerned, or in the case of a Union authorisation, the Agency” substitute “authority”;

b

for “Those competent authorities shall decide, or, in the case of a Union authorisation, the Agency shall examine and the Commission” substitute “The competent authority shall”;

c

in the second subparagraph, for “fees payable under Article 80(1) and (2)” substitute “appropriate fees”.
