The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 78 and 207(1) and (4) of the Equality Act 2010(1).

In accordance with section 208(4), (5)(b) and (8) of the Equality Act 2010(2), a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
