The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 59(1), (2) and (3) of, paragraphs 2, 3, 5 and 7(1) of Schedule 24 to, and paragraphs 3, 4, 7(1) and (2), 10, 11 and 14(1) of Schedule 25 to, the Crime and Courts Act 2013(1).

In accordance with paragraph 6(1) of Schedule 24 to that Act, and paragraphs 6(1) and 13(1) of Schedule 25 to that Act, the Northern Ireland Assembly has consented to the making of transferred provision (as defined in that Act) by this Order.

In accordance with section 58(4)(j), (l) and (6) of that Act, a draft of this Order has been laid before and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
