These Regulations may be cited as the State Pension Regulations 2015.

These Regulations come into force on 6th April 2016.

These Regulations (except Part 5) do not apply to a person who reaches pensionable age7 before 6th April 2016.

In these Regulations, “the 2014 Act” means the Pensions Act 2014.

For the purposes of these Regulations (except this paragraph), two people are to be treated as if they are not married to each other in relation to times when either of them is married to a third person.
