Determination of applications and entry on the register12

Where an application is made under regulation 11, the Secretary of State must as soon as is reasonably practicable notify the applicant whether the application is granted or refused.

Where the Secretary of State intends to refuse an application, regulation 18 applies.

Where an application is granted the Secretary of State must—
a
enter the applicant on the register of green deal assessor certification bodies, by including on that register the information in paragraphs 1 to 5 and section 2 of Schedule 1 in respect of the applicant; and
b
enter the persons on the applicant’s membership list on the register of green deal assessors by including the information in paragraphs 1 to 5 and section 3 of Schedule 1 on that register in respect of each of them.

The Secretary of State must comply with paragraph (3) as soon as is reasonably practicable, but no earlier than 1st October 2012.
