Bail Act 1976(1)
40. In section 3(6C)(a) (general provisions) and in paragraph 6C(a) of Schedule 1 (persons entitled to bail: supplementary provisions), for “petty sessions area” substitute “local justice area”.

1976 c. 63. Section 3(6C) was inserted by section 19(1) and (2) of the Criminal Justice Act 2003 (c. 44) and paragraph 6C of Schedule 1 was inserted by section 19(1) and (4) of that Act.
