Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976(1)

39.  In the definition of “the proper officer of the appropriate authority” in paragraph 1(2) of Schedule 3 (permits for commercial provision of amusements with prizes), for “chief executive to” substitute “designated officer for”.

1976 c. 32. The definition of “the proper officer of the appropriate authority” in paragraph 1(2) of Schedule 3 was inserted by section 80(1) of, and Schedule 13 to, the Access to Justice Act 1999 (c. 22). It is repealed by sections 198(1) and 199 of the Licensing Act 2003 (c. 17) but the repeal is not yet in force.
