Section 2 of the New Forest Act 1970 shall be amended as follows.

In subsection (1) for the words “Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food” there shall be substituted “Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs”.

In subsection (3) for the words “Minister of Transport” there shall be substituted “Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions”.
