Rule 34 of the elections rules (voting procedure) is amended as follows.

In paragraph (6)(f) (specified documents to include British seaman’s card)12 for the words from “under” to the end substitute “or having effect as if made under section 79 of the Merchant Shipping Act 199513”.

In paragraph (6)(g) (specified documents to include plastic card with national insurance number embossed on it)14 for the words “of Health and Social Security or the Department of Social Security” substitute “for Social Development”.
